The TWU Local 576 President Special Election is being conducted through the BallotPoint Election Services. A secret paper ballot has been mailed to your home address on file with instructions on how to vote.
As provided in the International Constitution, any member who is in good standing by paying dues through July 2024 will be eligible to vote.
Nominations for the office of President were taken from the floor during the nomination meeting and the candidates that accepted the nomination are:
Lisa Epema
Miah Dix
William Bandy
The term of office will run for eleven months beginning September 2024.
The paper ballots have been mailed and you should be receiving them soon. Due to the slowdown of USPS deliveries, the election committee encourages you to vote and immediately return your ballot in the enclosed RETURN ENVELOPE only. Ballots received after 10:30 AM PT on September 4, 2024 will not be counted. Ballots not returned in the provided RETURN ENVELOPE will not be counted.
