Nominations for Local 576 President, Vice President, Secretary Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and Executive Board Members shall be taken at the next scheduled local station meeting. As provided in the Local 576 Bylaws, any member who is paying dues and is in good standing is eligible to nominate candidates and run for office. Local Officers and Executive Board Members elected will serve for a term of three (3) years. In case nominated members are not present, the Board of Election will contact members nominated to verify acceptance.
Michael Kazmer and Thomas Sullivan of DFW shall serve as the Board of Elections. The Board of Elections shall adopt appropriate rules, and provide forms and ballots, for the conducting of nominations and elections of Officers and Executive Board Members in accordance with the International Constitution and the Local By-Laws.
Subsequent to all the station meetings, election of Local Officers and Executive Board members will be held as soon as possible. The Local By-Laws shall be observed for the eligibility to run for or hold any elective or appointive position.
Ballot Point Election Services shall again be contracted to facilitate the election process.
