AMT & Related Tentative Agreement
September 9th, 2016
Brothers and Sisters,
Today the Tentative Agreement for the AMT & Related work group was overwhelmingly rejected by the membership. Over 97% of the members that voted cast a NO vote. Your voices have been heard.
In accordance with Letter “Y” of the collective bargaining agreement we will now enter into interest arbitration with Envoy Air. The TWU is fully committed and prepared to present the best case to the arbitration panel on behalf of all of you.
We have chosen the five items we will propose to change in the agreement and expect to exchange them with the company early next week.
Once we do that we will communicate those items with you.
The Interest arbitration hearing dates are October 3rd through 7th, 2016 and will be held in the DFW area.
The selected Arbitrators are:
Joshua Javits – Chairman
William McKee – Chosen by the TWU
James Conway – Chosen by Envoy
Thank you for your support and patience during this process.
